Union Inauguration Ceremony
The Union Inauguration Ceremony was held on October 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the college auditorium. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Vaikash Varaveena. The programme commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by the Chairperson, who extended heartfelt greetings to the dignitaries, staff, and students.
Program Highlights
The highlight of the ceremony was the Oath-Taking Ceremony, which was administered by the Principal. The newly elected union members took the oath, pledging to uphold the values and integrity of the institution.
Following this, an honouring ceremony was held to recognize the remarkable contributions of Dr. Roy John, who was felicitated for his outstanding service and dedication to the institution.
The event also included a Prize Distribution Ceremony where students who qualified in SET/NET and those who achieved overall rank (OG) distinctions were honoured for their academic excellence. Additionally, the creators of the Union Logo were rewarded for their creative contributions.
A felicitation address was delivered by the Joint Secretary, who expressed gratitude and encouragement to the union members and the student community.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the UUC, acknowledging the efforts of all those who contributed to the success of the event.
The cultural segment of the programme featured a captivating musical performance by Mr. Vaikash Varaveena, which was followed by a series of classical and modern music.
