Seminar on Enhancing Communication Skills
The seminar on “Enhancing communication Skills” was held on 16.8.24 at the conference hall of CICS, CTE, with a total number of 47 B.Ed. students, Principal, 2 faculty members and 2 guest speakers. The objective of the seminar was to empower B.Ed. students with effective communication skills, essential for becoming successful educators.
The programme began with a silent prayer. The principal delivered a welcome address and emphasized the significance of communication skills in teaching. This was followed by Mr. Salih’s presentation and session on verbal and non-verbal communication, which set the tone for the rest of the seminar. An interactive session kept the participants engaged and invested in discussion. The session by Mr. Hadin Arshad focused on “Building rapport and relationships” through communication. The participants were encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences. The seminar concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Adithya.
The seminar received positive feedbacks from participants, who appreciated the interactive sessions and practical tips shared by the guest speakers. Overall the seminar achieved its objectives, equipping the B.Ed. students with enhanced communication skills to excel in their teaching career.
