Programme : Course Orientation Programme.
Date : 22nd July 2024.
Venue : Conference Hall, CICS, CTE.
Participants : B.Ed. students of 2024-26 batch, principal & 7 faculty members.
Programme Objective –
(1) To introduce new students to the college’s vision, mission and academic
culture.
(2) To familiarise students with the B.Ed. programme and its curriculum.
(3) To provide a platform for faculty-student interaction and networking.
Programme Schedule –
9.30 am : Prayer.
9.35 am : Welcome speech and introduction by Principal Dr. Shylaja C .V.
10.00 am : Introduction of faculty members.
10.30 am -12.00 pm : Course orientation – Mr Anulal.P, Asst. Professor.
Natural Science.
12.00 pm -12.30 pm : Campus-tour.

The programme aimed to introduce students to the college’s vision,
mission and academic culture, familiarize them with the B.Ed. programme and
its curriculum and a platform for faculty-student interaction and networking.
The programme began with a silent prayer. The principal introduced
herself and delivered a welcome speech. The principal introduced each faculty
member in detail, followed by a course orientation by Mr Anulal .P - Asst.
Professor of Natural science. He gave a detailed description of the curriculum,
which provided valuable insights for the students. The program concluded with
a campus tour and the students were introduced to the facilities of the college.
The programme was well received by students. They found the day’s
programme informative and engaging while faculty members praised the
student’s enthusiasm and participation. Overall, the orientation programme was
a success, achieving its objectives and setting a positive tone for the new
academic year.
