Kerala Literature Fest

The KLF ON THE MOVE LECTURE SERIES was hosted by CICS CTE .It was an
interactive session with acclaimed author Jinsha Ganga, which took place on 6th January 2025.
The event commenced at 2:30pm with a soulful prayer song performed by the college choir team, setting a serene tone for the program. Dr. Shylaja C.V, Principal of CICS, CTE, delivered the welcome speech, warmly introducing the guest and highlighting the significance of the event. Prof. Mohammed Basheer, Manager of CICS, CTE, then presented the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of literary endeavors and the value of interactions with renowned authors.
The main event featured Jinsha Ganga discussing her book, Oda. The author shared insights into her writing process, the inspiration behind her work, and the themes explored in the book.She captivated the audience by her engaging narrative and the depth of her thoughts. The session was followed by an interactive segment, where students enthusiastically posed questions about Jinsha Ganga’s book, as well as her writing journey and experiences. The author graciously responded to each query, offering valuable advice and encouragement to the aspiring writers in the audience.
Dr. K Muhammad Sareef, Assistant Professor, Farook Training College, provided concluding
remarks, summarizing the key takeaways from the session and thanking the author for her
insightful discussion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms.
Fathima Hanan, Chairman of the College Union, who expressed gratitude to the author,
organizers, and participants. The event came to a close at 4:00 pm, leaving a lasting impact on the attendees.
Overall, the interactive session with Jinsha Ganga was a resounding success, providing a
unique opportunity for students to engage with a celebrated author and gain insights into the literary world.
