PI day celebration

The Mathematics Club “Pioneers” of CICS College of Teacher Education organized a Pi Day Celebration on 16th March 2026 at 9:30 AM in the Conference Hall.
The program began with a warm welcome address by Sangeetha, who highlighted the importance of Pi Day. This was followed by an informative PowerPoint presentation on π (pi) by Sahala, which explained its history and applications in an engaging manner.
The event was efficiently anchored by Shaba, ensuring a smooth flow throughout the program.
Two interesting games were conducted as part of the celebration. The first was a Mathematics Riddle session that tested students’ logical thinking, and the second was a Pi Digit Memorization competition, where participants demonstrated their memory skills. Prizes were awarded to the winners.
As a token of love, sweets were distributed to all participants at the end of the program.
The program concluded at 10:05 AM with great enthusiasm and participation from everyone.
Overall, the celebration organized by the Mathematics Club “Pioneers” was both informative and enjoyable
