The Annual Athletics Meet 2025–26 of CICS College of Teacher Education was held on December 9, 2025, at the Peekay CICS Arts & Science College Stadium and proved to be a vibrant celebration of energy, talent, and sportsmanship. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Devak Bhushan, the 6th Asian U18 Athletics Championships Silver Medalist, whose inspiring address motivated the participants to give their best in every event. Students competed enthusiastically under the three house groups—Athens, Titans, and Spartans—in a total of eight main events that included the 100 m and 200 m races for both men and women, the mixed 4×100 m relay, the 400 m race walk for women, the 600 m race walk for men, discus throw and shot put for both categories, and the highly spirited mixed tug of war. Each event generated immense excitement, with participants showcasing remarkable speed, endurance, and strength while spectators cheered passionately from the stands. The field events displayed exceptional technique and determination, while the relay and tug-of-war events added a sense of teamwork and unity to the day. After a close contest and impressive performances across all events, the house group Athens emerged as the overall champions of the meet, reflecting their consistent excellence throughout the competition. The programme concluded with the distribution of medals and certificates, followed by a vote of thanks, marking the end of a well-organised and memorable sports meet that encouraged discipline, teamwork, and a positive sporting spirit among all students
