The Union and Fine Arts Club Inauguration Programme was conducted in our college with lively participation from students and faculty. The event began with a prayer by the Choir Team, setting a pleasant and respectful tone for the programme.
The welcome speech was delivered by Myrtle Victor, Union Advisor. She greeted the gathering and briefly spoke about the importance of student involvement in union and fine arts activities.
The Union and Fine Arts Club were officially inaugurated by Anwar Sawan and Sooraj Nithya, who are well-known for their singing and guitar performances. Their presence added an energetic touch to the event, and they encouraged students to take part in creative programmes throughout the year.
This was followed by the felicitation session, where Afrah Mohamed Raoof (Chairperson) and Maya Murali (Fine Arts Secretary) addressed the audience and shared their hopes for the upcoming activities.
The formal function concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ayisha Liya, General Secretary, who expressed gratitude to all participants, guests, and organisers.
The programme ended with vibrant cultural performances, including group dances, songs, and other creative acts by students, making the event enjoyable and memorable.
