Library Orientation
The Library Club Inauguration and Library Orientation Programme was held on 18th November 2025 (Tuesday) at 12.30 pm in the Conference Hall, CICS College of Teacher Education, in association with IQAC. The programme was organised to promote reading habits and familiarise students with library resources.
The programme began with the welcome speech by Maya Murali, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, teachers, and students, and highlighted the importance of libraries in academic life.
The Library Club was inaugurated by Prof. Siru Razak C, Writer and Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, PeeKay CICS. He addressed the gathering and shared inspiring thoughts on the value of reading and writing.
This was followed by the Library Orientation Programme conducted by Fida E.K, Librarian, CICS CTE, who explained the library rules, facilities, and proper use of resources.
The felicitation address was delivered by Athul, appreciating the initiative and encouraging students to make effective use of the library.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Sangeeta, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
