Report on Mental Health Day Programme
The Mental Health Day Programme was organized on Friday, 10th October 2025, under the auspices of the Social Science Club “Civitas.”
The programme commenced with an inspiring thought on the importance of mental health and its relevance in contemporary society, shared by club member Ms. Shahana.
Following this, Ms. Krishnapriya, another club member, extended a warm welcome to Ms. Reethu, who introduced two books related to mental health, encouraging all attendees to engage in further reading and reflection on the topic.
As part of the mental health awareness initiative, Social Science Option Leader Ms. Dhannya invited Assistant Professor Ms. Myrtil and Associate Professor Mr. Rages to adorn the Green Ribbon, the symbol of mental health awareness, on the club leaders and option leaders.
The programme served as a valuable platform to highlight the importance of emotional well-being and to promote awareness about mental health among students. Through this meaningful observance, all participants gained a deeper understanding of the necessity of maintaining good mental health in everyday life.
