The inauguration of the Mathematics Club “PI-ONEER “was held on 18th September 2025 at 12.05 p.m. with great enthusiasm and participation from students and faculty. The programme began with a warm welcome speech by Nimisha, who extended greetings to all present and highlighted the importance of such a club in enhancing mathematical thinking.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Rajeev Sir, who officially inaugurated the club. Following this, the club coordinators Shaba and Dr. Rajeev together revealed the official name of the club, marking a memorable beginning.
As part of the programme, Sangeetha, Shaba, and Deepika engaged the participants with thought-provoking mathematical questions, encouraging active involvement and creating an interactive atmosphere. Adding a creative touch, Fanisha recited a beautiful poem, which enriched the programme with literary flavor.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sangeetha, who expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the inauguration.
The inauguration was both inspiring and enjoyable, setting a strong foundation for the Mathematics Club to function as a platform for exploring the beauty of mathematics and fostering student interest in the subject.
